They are Chanmati Ravi Das, 45, wife of Kacha Bari Das of Kubajpur village in Raniganj union, his son Arun Ravi Das, 11, and Moina Mia, 65, of Eralia Mohammadpur village in Kalkalia union.
Local UP chairman Shahidul Islam Rana said one of his ponds on the power service line in Kubajpur village burst on Saturday night. On Sunday morning, Arun Ravi Das was electrocuted while fishing in a pond next to his house with a net.
"At that time, when he shouted, mother Chanmati Ravi Das went ahead. When he came, he also got electrocuted. When people took them to the hospital, the doctors declared them both dead. ”
Another incident took place in Eralia Mohammadpur village.
Moina Mia, 65, died after being electrocuted by a power switch board in her home village.
Nazmul Sadat, a doctor at the emergency department of the upazila's health complex, said three people had died before coming to the hospital.
Jagannathpur Police Station SI Mirza Shakhawat said he went to the spot after receiving the news.
